Our Christmas was beautiful and cozy, and it was so much fun seeing Lincoln experience everything for the first time even though he didn’t have a clue it was the best day of the year. We had croissants and jam for breakfast, listened to carols (and obsessively watched this flash mob in Romania), sipped hot cider with cinnamon sticks, opened gifts, played games, and ate a delicious dinner followed by chocolate fondue.
A little post-Christmas depression started setting in this morning, but thankfully, the miracle of Jesus’ birth means that Christmas is never over. I have to remember to be grateful for that every day.

Is that chocolate fondue? Yum yum!!
yes! so good.
